Innovitaskolan consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created for the needs of the future. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to give our children and students the skills and right prerequisites in a changing world. Innovitaskolan schools are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovitaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools.

Innovitaskolan Banérporten

Innovitaskolan Banérporten is an established school on Östermalm in Stockholm for many years. Here it is close to Gärdet, Djurgården, and many of the city's museums. Our operations started as early as 1992, initially as an independent preschool after-school care activity. In 1997, we expanded the operations with a preschool, and in 2002, we started school operations for preschool class to grade 6. Today, there are 382 students at the school and 144 children in our preschool.

We live in a world that is moving ever faster. We are constantly met with new challenges, but also opportunities. With a focus on future competencies, we educate our students to become secure individuals who can communicate freely and move unimpeded in the new digital landscape. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to give our children and students the right prerequisites in a changing world. We combine high subject knowledge with collaborations within business and associations.

Our goal is for both students and guardians to feel involved and engaged in their school. Through our three keywords SECURITY, Joy, and DEVELOPMENT, we strive to achieve this.

We work from the attitude that all children are everyone's children.

Our premises are located in the blocks around Gustav Adolfsparken on Östermalm in Stockholm. The premises are adapted for each operation's purpose, and the proximity to the beautiful surrounding parks gives fantastic opportunities for children of all ages.

We are looking for you who is a certified teacher for lower primary school (grades 1-3).

Your assignment

We now offer a full-time position with teaching in lower primary school as well as mentorship for a class, starting in the autumn term of 2026.

Your profile

Our operations are characterized by the keywords: security, joy, and development. We work actively with soft values, which provides good prerequisites for learning and development. Our work is characterized by high engagement from everyone working at the school. We work with relational leadership in the classroom and close collaboration with our guardians.

Our goal is for students to arrive well-prepared for upper secondary school, with good subject knowledge, good study skills, and high social competence. At Innovitaskolan Banérporten, we use a varied working method where ideas and inspiration are drawn from different pedagogical models. The common starting point is that we want to stimulate the desire and joy of learning. We are convinced that learning largely takes place in interaction and communication with others.

As a teacher, you are receptive and want to guide students into the future. You are clear in your leadership and have good experience in leading student groups. Therefore, we are looking for you with a large personal commitment to learning, a burning interest in developing our students' knowledge, and collaborating collegially, preferably with humor and warmth.
