Do you want to work nights this summer at elderly care facilities and group homes in Lycksele Municipality? We are looking for experienced summer substitutes for our special needs housing.

Do you want to work nights at special needs housing within Support, Care, and Nursing this summer? Don't hesitate to send us your application! Lycksele Municipality strives to offer good citizen service, and the core of this is our skilled and knowledgeable employees. Together we have broad competence, and together we become better. Being a summer substitute within Support, Care, and Nursing means working as a substitute in our operations during the period from June to August when regular staff are on vacation. There is an opportunity to start the summer job earlier and get trained already during the spring. If you wish to continue as an hourly substitute during the autumn, there are good opportunities for continued employment.

As an employee at special needs housing, elderly care, or group homes, you help our residents with service and personal care. Our work is to make a difference, so that the quality of life for our residents is as good as possible. Being the one who can make a difference for other people makes the work very enjoyable. The most important tool we have is our attitude and our smile, so that our fellow human beings feel seen and confirmed. The work will be scheduled according to a night shift roster.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for you who have education in care and nursing or equivalent education as assessed by the employer, and experience with night work. It is important to us that you have an interest and commitment to working with people and that you feel secure in your professional role.

As a person, you are good at listening, empathizing, and understanding other people and their needs. You are secure in your professional role and take personal responsibility for your work. We also assume that you have a good attitude and good cooperation skills, as well as being able to adapt and prioritize tasks according to current conditions since we work with people. Therefore, great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We have also worked on salaries and conditions for our summer substitutes this year, as you are important to us! This means that we will pay higher salaries than the central agreement during the summer months. We also try to help with temporary accommodation if you have difficulty finding housing in Lycksele during the time you are working with us.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Summer substitute position June – August.

Scope: 100% (night shift = 34.4 hours/week) or according to agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
