ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for summer substitutes for the home care services in Lycksele Municipality for the summer of 2026.

Do you want to work as a summer substitute in home care this summer? Don't hesitate to send us your application! Being a summer substitute within Support, Care, and Welfare means that you will work as a substitute in our operations during the period of June to August when regular staff are on vacation. There is an opportunity to start the summer job earlier and get trained during the spring. If you wish to continue as an hourly substitute during the autumn, there are good opportunities for continued employment.

Within home care, we have a changing workplace where we are met with new exciting challenges daily. As an employee in home care, you help our users with service and personal care in their homes. Our work is to make a difference, so that the quality of life for our users becomes as good as possible. To be the one who can make a difference for other people makes the work very pleasant. The most important tool we have is our attitude and our smile, so that our fellow human beings feel seen and validated. The work will be scheduled according to shifts, day, evening, or night.

YOUR PROFILE

We believe in the right competence in the right place.

We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. We consider it meritorious if you have education in care and welfare or equivalent education as assessed by the employer, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to working with people and want to support them in their daily lives. For some home care areas, a Category B driver's license is required as you need to be able to travel by car.

As a person, you are good at listening, empathizing, and understanding other people and their needs. You will be in contact with many people daily, such as users, relatives, and staff, which requires good interpersonal skills and teamwork. Working with people means an exciting and changing daily life, and therefore we believe you are good at adapting and prioritizing tasks according to current conditions. Therefore, great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A certificate of good conduct will be requested prior to employment.

We have also worked on salaries and conditions for our summer substitutes this year, as you are important to us! This means that we will pay higher wages than the central agreement during the summer months. We also try to help with temporary accommodation if you have difficulty finding housing in Lycksele while you are working with us.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Summer substitute position June – August.

Scope: 100% or as agreed.

Start date: As agreed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
