About the role

As an employee here, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently looking for a store sales assistant for our garden department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of typical tasks

• Active sales of the product range within the garden department.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Be helpful in other departments when needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience or education within gardening.
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service.
• Enable customers to realize their projects through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working hours/Duration: Fixed-term, seasonal. Part-time, 30 hours/week. Scheduled working hours on weekdays and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
