We are now looking for a dental hygienist for our team in Hammarstrand

If you want to work at a small clinic in a rural area, utilizing your full competence with all different patient groups, alongside a wonderful group of colleagues, this might be for you! The Public Dental Service is located in the same building as the health center, where 2 dentists and 3 dental nurses currently work.

Work Environment and Collaboration

Working at the clinic involves collaboration within and between all professional categories to provide patients with the best possible care. You will be offered a collaboration with cheerful, experienced, and engaged coworkers who enjoy working together. The readiness to help each other in the treatment process is high, and we have a good collaboration with our specialist dentists located in Östersund. We want to see both the operations develop and individuals grow.

As a dental hygienist in our organization, you will be part of a network exclusively for dental hygienists, meeting a couple of times a year in addition to the seminars offered by the Public Dental Service. Currently, a project is underway to implement Voxit for all dental hygienists to facilitate patient work. If needed, there is an opportunity to receive supervision.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who have knowledge in working with both pediatric and adult dentistry. Working at a rural clinic means working from a broad competence area where you get to work to your full competence. Here you will meet and work with all different patient categories: children, adults, acute cases, and necessary dental care. Here you have the chance to work at a workplace where your contribution truly makes a difference. There is also an opportunity to combine more traditional dental hygienist work with preventive work in various forums and areas.

Qualifications

• Swedish dental hygienist license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Preferably a few years of experience, but not a requirement
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Skilled in meeting people, communicating, and creating good relationships.
• Attributes we value highly are that you are engaged, quality-conscious, flexible, and have good social competence. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and that you fit into the clinic's profile.
• Category B driver's license
