RESPONSIBILITIES
As a veterinarian with us at the District Veterinarians in Huskvarna, you will work with both small animals in our clinic and large animals in the field. If you have special competence or a specific interest, we would like to highlight this in the best possible way. On-call duty is a natural part of the position for all animal species and is part of the District Veterinarians' mission. We have adapted scheduling which allows for recovery time around worked on-call hours. We are a relatively small clinic, so you need to be flexible, self-reliant, and not afraid to step up where needed.
Since a large part of our operations consists of field readiness combined with booked visits at our clinic, no day is the same as the other. We require excellent teamwork skills as we solve the clinic's tasks together in the best possible way. We are a small group of colleagues who get along well and want to develop together. We see you as an important puzzle piece who wants to contribute to making our clinic even better for our animal owners.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed veterinarian. Previous experience within the profession is meritorious, as is the desire to develop within both small animal and field operations.
We want you to be engaged and solution-oriented to work for the team's best interest towards common goals. You are accommodating and attentive in your interactions to create a good customer meeting and give the customer a good experience with us.
Since our operations consist of readiness and small animal clinics, a good eye for prioritization and planning of work is required to create a good flow in the workday.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and social competence and are looking for an employee who values good cooperation and contributes to a strong team spirit.
As we have ambulatory operations in the field, a B-driver's license is a requirement. Good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills are also basic requirements.
We conduct ongoing selection and interviews, so do not hesitate to submit your application.
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Working hours: Shift schedule.
We care about our staff. Therefore, we give all employees within the District Veterinarians the opportunity to take part in various benefits. Some examples are 28-35 days of vacation depending on your age, salary exchange, fitness allowance, and occupational health care. For you as a parent, we have good conditions to find a good balance between work and family life; we offer, among other things, parental benefit supplements and the possibility to reduce your working hours until the child is twelve years old.
We strive for diversity among our employees.
Our working language is Swedish, and our services require that you master Swedish in both speech and writing.
We normally apply a 6-month probation period.
