Z-Signaler is expanding its strength in Luleå. We are therefore looking for a Operations and Maintenance Technician for our office at Storheden in Luleå. Here, you work with modern technology within traffic systems, everything from traffic signals and ITS solutions to VMS signs and weather stations – with all of Norrbotten as your working area. Your work is a crucial part of creating a safe and functioning traffic flow in society.

About the role

As an Operations and Maintenance Technician with us, you work with the installation, commissioning, service, and troubleshooting of traffic signals, ITS equipment, VMS signs, and weather stations.

The work is varied and involves significant personal responsibility. Our facilities are located throughout the county, which means travel is a natural part of the job. On-call duties may also occur. You will play an important role in ensuring that the systems function as they should – both in everyday life and when it is really needed.

Your responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of traffic signals, ITS equipment, and weather stations
• Troubleshooting, service, and repair of electrical systems
• Preventive maintenance to ensure operational reliability
• Planning of jobs and booking of shutdowns (TMA protection)
• Collaboration with technicians, engineers, and programmers
• Documentation according to current standards and procedures
• Contribute to a safe and well-functioning work environment

We are looking for you who:

• Are self-reliant, solution-oriented, and have a high sense of service
• Enjoy both independent work and collaborating in a team
• Are okay with traveling for work and, in some cases, working at other locations
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

If you have the right attitude and drive, we know that most things can be learned along the way. However, some experiences that are considered meritorious include:

• Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Understanding of safety regulations and rules within electricity
• Experience working on roads
• Experience with mast climbing.
