The Rehabilitation Center in Region Dalarna is a county-wide specialist resource with clinics in five locations. Our mission is to provide individuals with congenital or early-acquired disabilities with comprehensive specialist interventions, aiming to enhance functional capacity and contribute to the best possible quality of life.

Are you an occupational therapist interested in working with patients who have various types of disabilities, often of a more extensive nature? At the rehabilitation center, you are offered a meaningful and varied assignment with the opportunity for long-term patient contacts.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will follow many patients over time, which provides the prerequisites for building good relationships and working systematically with planning, follow-up, and adapted interventions. You work in close collaboration with other professional groups within the team, but also have significant individual responsibility in daily work.

Responsibilities

A meaningful and varied assignment as an occupational therapist.

As an occupational therapist with us, you play a central role in the patient's daily life. Your tasks are both diverse and developmental - you prescribe assistive devices, follow up on interventions, conduct functional assessments, and work preventively and therapeutically with individualized measures. You mentor and advise both patients and their networks, and you carry out interventions that strengthen both physical and cognitive abilities - always in close collaboration with the patient, relatives, and the interdisciplinary team.

You will also write certificates, for example for personal assistance, and have the opportunity to lead groups and training sessions based on patients' needs and wishes. We encourage participation in the development of our working methods - both digitally and practically - and collaborate actively with other actors within healthcare, not least municipal operations.

We offer a workplace where competence development is a given. Regular internal training, theme days, and collegial exchanges are held here. As a new employee, you will receive both a mentor and a supervisor within the profession. Additionally, we have joint professional teams every week where we support and learn from each other.

You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in many different diagnoses - including more rare conditions - and develop continuously in your professional role. Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed occupational therapist
• have a B-class driver's license

• experience in the profession

You have an interest in the target group of the Rehabilitation Center. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are offered a good introduction with a mentor and supervisor, as well as professional meetings with occupational therapist colleagues in the operation that contribute to your development.
