One of our preschool teachers will become a mother this summer, and we are looking for you who want to join us in a preschool teacher vacancy for at least one year starting in August.

We are looking for a qualified preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license and good experience in the profession.

We value your motivation to drive pedagogical processes in practice. You lead the work team and the group of children based on the curriculum and regulatory documents. Extra merit is given if you have experience with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. You enjoy leading and motivating others and share your experiences and knowledge.

Computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, are required.

About Us!

We are a small independent preschool in Örnsberg. We work in a Reggio Emilia-inspired manner in project groups and place great emphasis on the children's creative and linguistic development. Our approach is that every child should be given the conditions and opportunities to develop into secure and learning individuals. We place great emphasis on outdoor activities and movement, focusing on excursions in our local area but also longer trips to various parks, museums, nature areas, and sights. We consciously work to convey sustainable thinking to the children, where environment, nature, and cycles form a whole, and where the children are involved at every step.

As a preschool teacher joining us, you should be well-versed in the curriculum and the regulatory documents that the preschool must adhere to. In planning the pedagogical work, you naturally start from the curriculum's goals and intentions and have the habit of weighing in the children's interests, needs, and questions. Your task as a preschool teacher is to lead and drive the pedagogical development work at the preschool in collaboration with colleagues and the principal. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that the education and instruction we offer the children meet the goals and requirements of the curriculum! We focus on the children's interests, and their participation is important in everything we do together. We create creative environments where children can find their ways of expressing themselves. Our task is to nurture children's curiosity and be encouraging and positive role models. The contact and collaboration with colleagues and guardians is an important part of the work. Together, we work to create secure and curious children!
