As an art teacher at Ingrid School, you have responsibility and great freedom to drive and develop the subject at the school. We therefore look forward to seeing that you are passionate and proactive.
The position is 100% and involves teaching at both Ingrid School's upper secondary school and approximately 25% at the school's lower secondary school (grades 7–9).
You will be responsible for small classes of approximately 10 students in the lower secondary school and 10–14 students in the upper secondary school. You will lead them in their schoolwork with the help of teaching assistants working in the different classes. You need to be flexible and able to adapt teaching to the students' different prerequisites.
Information about the school
Ingrid School is a small primary and upper secondary school, primarily adapted for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but open to all. The school follows the standard curriculum and is located in Bergshamra, Solna.
The school works based on TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.
Ingrid School is a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development, with the aim of creating good learning and leisure environments for children and young people with ASD. To make this possible, staff receive continuous supervision and further education within ASD.
Ingrid School offers a school environment characterized by calm and quiet, where you get great freedom and time to work individually with each student's different prerequisites.
