At our production facility in Alvik, Luleå, we produce patient lifts, lift slings, and other accessories. Our products are used to lift and move people in nursing homes, special schools, hospitals, and homes around the world. We won the Swedish Lean Prize in 2021, so our Lean work and continuous improvements are a natural part of our operations where you will play an important role.

About the role

We are now looking for an operator for our sling production at our facility in Luleå. Your main tasks will be to produce our lift slings. Our production involves sewing the lift slings on several different sewing machines as well as ensuring the quality of the product. We won the Swedish Lean Prize in 2021, so our Lean work and continuous improvements are a natural part of our operations where you will play an important role.

In our production in Alvik outside Luleå, we offer a clean and modern work environment with ergonomically adjusted workstations. You will be part of a pleasant work group consisting of 17 employees of mixed ages. We offer lunch at a favorable price at our nearby restaurant, and we have a staff gym and a wellness allowance.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and open to change. To succeed in your work, you should be a good team player who can also work independently. Experience in sewing or working in production is meritorious but not a requirement. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement. Other qualities we value are that you are meticulous, structured, and have good collaboration skills.

A requirement is that you must be 18 years of age or older.

Employment type

Permanent position starting with a 6-month fixed-term contract. It is advantageous to have a driver's license and your own car to get to Alvik as bus connections are limited.

Full-time, working hours are daytime 7 AM - 4 PM.
