The role involves working together with a colleague to be responsible for the planning, implementation, and assessment of mathematics teaching in grades 7–9. You are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment that increases students' desire to learn and develops their knowledge. You work in a way where core values and safety permeate the entire school day, ensuring that every student receives the support they need. Mentoring is not part of your role, as we have three senior mentors working with students and colleagues in grades 7–9. However, it is important that you view collaboration and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues as a natural part of the safety work, which everyone at the school is involved in. You are also part of a two-teacher team, a subject group, and a work group where continuous collegial work takes place to develop teaching quality and meet the needs of the students.

• Sees students at both group and individual levels and adapts your teaching based on students' needs and prerequisites.
• Is interested in working with different methods and approaches, as well as collaborating with other teachers inside and outside the classroom.

• You are team-oriented and see the importance of driving the school's development together with other colleagues.
• You see quality in teaching as a requirement for good goal fulfillment and therefore ensure that your teaching is goal-directed, challenging, and has content and methodological variation.
• You have the ability to follow and assess the student's development of knowledge and skills in varied ways, and to develop these in collaboration with the student.
• You have the ability to lead a group in a way that shows that structure, relationships, safety, understanding, context, and order are in focus.

Requirements:

• You have a degree with teacher certification and eligibility to teach mathematics.
• You are well acquainted with the Swedish compulsory school curriculum and course plans.
• You are a good pedagogue.
