Ronnaskolan's Municipality-Wide Special Education Group (KÖSU) offers a smaller, adapted environment for students with special needs in grades 7–9. In our KÖSU group, a small but tightly knit team works with a focus on learning and pedagogical development. In addition to teachers exclusively attached to the KÖSU group, staff from Ronnaskolan's regular operations also teach home economics, physical education, and modern languages in locations outside the standard classrooms. A central goal of the operation is to integrate each student into regular instruction and broader contexts, based on individual needs and prerequisites.

Your Responsibilities

The position involves responsibility for planning, implementing, and assessing teaching in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SV/SVA) and Social Studies (SO) for grades 7–9 in our KÖSU group. Here, a team works to support students who face significant challenges in life. Our students, for various reasons, find it difficult to attend and benefit from the education provided in the large mainstream school. We support each other and the students throughout the entire school day. Flexibility, collaboration, relationship-building, and a desire to make a difference are what drive us in our work. We meet the student where they are at the moment with the support needed right then and there. Clarity and accessibility in communication and teaching are important in our operations. We hope that you create teaching characterized by creativity and variation that leads to increased interest in the subject, while strengthening collaboration with other colleagues as a foundation for a cross-curricular approach. The position also involves contributing to Ronnaskolan's development in work teams and subject teams. We also expect you to take responsibility for the students' overall study situation.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a well-thought-out view of knowledge and students. You have the ability to see students at both group and individual levels and adapt your teaching based on the students' needs and prerequisites. You see quality in teaching as a requirement for good goal fulfillment and therefore ensure that your teaching is goal-oriented, challenging, and has content and methodological variation. You are confident in assessment and grading and take responsibility for the student's development and goal fulfillment.

Personal Qualities:

• You are team-oriented and see the importance of driving the school's development together with other colleagues.
• You have the ability to lead a group in a way that shows structure, good relationships, security, understanding, context, and order are in focus.
• You are structured and organized, but also have the ability to be flexible and prepared for the twists and turns that daily work in the school world often entails.

Requirements:

• You have a degree with teacher certification in SV/SVA and Social Studies (SO) and are well familiar with the primary school curriculum and course plans.
• You are recognized as a good pedagogue.
• You have a good command of the Swedish language and have a language- and knowledge-developing approach to work.
• You see relationships and security as the foundation for learning and demonstrate this in your daily work.
