Are you someone who thrives in practical work, has an eye for quality, and wants to work for a company in the railway sector? We are now looking for driven train assemblers for our client Alstom in Motala. We offer a role for you who values quality, safety, and technical precision. The work involves mechanical assembly, maintenance, and modernization of complex train vehicles. You work independently but in close collaboration with your team to deliver according to high demands. Working hours are day shifts on weekdays. Preliminary start is mid-August.

We are looking for:

• Previous experience as an assembler, preferably in heavy industry, vehicles, or workshop environments.
• Very good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written) to follow instructions and documentation.
• Counterbalance truck and overhead crane certificates are required.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Education or experience in hydraulics or pneumatics.
• Knowledge in control and regulation technology as well as electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

As a train assembler at Alstom, you become an important part of the production where we work with maintenance, conversions, and modernization of trains. The work is varied and requires both technical understanding and precision.

Your main tasks:

• Mechanical assembly and disassembly of components.
• Simple electrical installations and cable routing.
• Work according to technical drawings and instructions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with previous experience as an assembler, preferably in heavy industry, vehicles, or workshop environments. You should have very good ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written) to follow instructions and documentation. Counterbalance truck and overhead crane certificates are required. Education or experience in hydraulics or pneumatics and knowledge in control and regulation technology and electrical engineering are meritorious.
