About the Role

Caroline is taking the next step within Gällivare Energi and moving on to the role of Operations Manager. We are therefore looking for a new Operations Technician who wants to become part of our shift team.

As an Operations Technician, you work together with 11 colleagues to ensure that our heat and electricity production facilities operate safely and efficiently – around the clock. You monitor operations, follow up on deviations, and contribute to our ability to deliver stable energy to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitoring of facilities
• Inspection and rounds
• Sampling
• Loading fuel with a loader
• Readings and ongoing reporting
• Registration and follow-up in maintenance systems
• Simple corrective and preventive maintenance

Who We Are Looking For

You are meticulous and take responsibility, and you thrive when collaborating with others. You have a genuine interest in technology and energy and enjoy finding solutions when something needs to be fixed. Workplace environment and safety are important to you – both for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

• High school education and/or relevant work experience (preferably within energy, process, machinery, technology, or operations and maintenance)
• Swedish language skills (written and spoken)
• Valid Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Experience as an operations or maintenance technician in the energy sector
• Experience with maintenance systems (e.g., IDUS)
