ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technical Product Engineer at our client, you will become an important part of a global team working with technical order fulfillment and product support. The role involves ensuring that incoming customer orders can be realized correctly based on existing designs, and acting as a technical link between various functions such as production, suppliers, and internal technical teams.

You will work closely with the product and analyze existing designs to ensure that the right components, configurations, and solutions are used in production. The role also includes identifying technical questions or misunderstandings that may arise between design, production, and other stakeholders. The team consists of experienced engineers, and you will receive support from senior colleagues and a dedicated mentor during your onboarding. In the long term, there is also an opportunity to contribute to product development projects and collaborate with R&D.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with the technical development of the product and act as backup for sales support.
• Coordinate technical activities with various stakeholders, including production support, supplier support, and management of stock and rental machines.
• Participate in product support projects and mechanical design.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Have or are about to complete a university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics, or similar.
• Have a technical interest and want to work close to the product in an industrial environment.
• Are communicative and thrive in a role with many internal contacts.
• Are solution-oriented and enjoy coordinating between different functions.
• Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Practical experience from production, workshop, or industrial environments.
• Interest or experience in mechanical design or electrical design.

You are curious, self-driven, and want to understand how complex products work in practice. At the same time, you are flexible and have the patience to navigate a larger organization where many functions need to work together.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially, you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the Client and our side is that you will eventually be hired directly by the client.
