We are looking for someone at the beginning of their engineering career who wants to put their education into practice, for real.

About the role:

You will become part of a cohesive test team working on a project basis to verify complete systems prior to delivery to international customers. Every project is unique, meaning you work with customized tests rather than standardized tasks.

The work is hands-on and varied. One day you might be working with electrical measurements, the next with flow and pressure tests, or connecting systems with water and transformer oil. You are involved throughout the entire process – from internal verification to final tests together with the customer.

This is a role for you who wants to combine theory with practice and develop in an environment where technology is at the center.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct customer-specific system tests based on technical specifications
• Perform electrical measurements and manual hardware tests
• Work with flow and pressure tests as well as the connection of technical systems
• Participate in final tests together with the customer
• Document test results and contribute to continuous improvements

Who we are looking for:

We believe you have recently graduated in electrical engineering, technical physics, or a similar field and are now ready to take the step into working life. You have a strong technical foundation, but above all, a drive to understand how things work in practice.

You are curious, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where collaboration is key. At the same time, you take responsibility for your own work and have the ability to work structured even in complex projects.

We would appreciate if you have a genuine interest in technology outside of your studies; perhaps you have built your own projects, tinkered with vehicles, or programmed in your spare time.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, technical physics, automation, or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and electrical measurements
• Good technical understanding and a practical approach to work
• Experience with technical documentation
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming, such as Python or PLC
• Mechanical interest or practical experience with technical projects

Employment

You will be employed by Westaff Sweden and work as a consultant for the client company. The assignment is full-time and long-term, with very good opportunities for extension or permanent hire.
