Your Responsibilities

As a Battery Technician/Service Technician, you will perform service and repairs on battery packs. Using our repair methods and software, you will conduct troubleshooting and repairs. This role will serve as our spearhead in battery technology within our service network. Here, batteries are repaired and refurbished for second-life use. The role involves a mix of workshop flow and production flow.

You will play a key role in establishing productive and efficient method standards for both existing and future battery technology. You will also become an expert and a resource for battery repairs within Scania Sverige and potentially globally. Travel may be required. You are a vital resource as our customers demand professional service, efficiency, and precision.

Who You Are

You have a strong interest in electric vehicles and new technology. It is an advantage if you have vehicle technical education or equivalent work experience. Documented training in battery technology and/or electrical training, or equivalent work experience, is highly valued. Furthermore, we appreciate that you have good general electrical knowledge, as vehicle systems are increasingly complex today. It is a big plus if you have experience or knowledge in production/assembly and are accustomed to working with standards, instructions, and LEAN principles, e.g., in the form of Scania's production system or similar.

As a person, you are service-oriented, orderly, self-motivated, and perform repairs and tasks methodically with high quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and value collaboration with your colleagues. Constantly wanting to develop and improve yourself and your work is second nature to you.

You are a proficient computer user, as many tasks require system understanding when connecting a computer to the battery pack. Good knowledge of Word and Excel is necessary. A Category B driver's license is a requirement; having C and D licenses is an advantage. To succeed in this role, you must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
