The Academic Primary Care Centre (APC) has an overarching research, education, and development mandate for primary care in Region Stockholm. APC, together with the three university health centres Jakobsberg, Gustavsberg, and Liljeholmen, constitutes the primary care university healthcare unit (USV) and is a key part of the new organization for knowledge management at both national and regional levels. The operations are based on a network organization where the majority of our employees have their primary employment in clinical primary care activities. Quality Support and Education Unit
The Quality Support and Education Unit works to disseminate the best available medical knowledge and contribute to region-wide development and improvement efforts. We offer various types of support and activities to all professions within primary care with the aim of communicating evidence-based treatment guidelines and pharmaceutical knowledge to address quality deficiencies in defined areas. We work, for example, with digital and physical education, quality data generation, concrete tools for improvement work, and proactive visits regarding medication prescribing.
We are now looking for a nurse/registered nurse to strengthen our team of education coordinators during 2026. You will be involved in the planning and implementation of our digital and physical educational events (Update Nursing Care and the insurance medical mandate) aimed at nurses and other professions within Region Stockholm, as well as in the work of pedagogically structuring our websites.
Responsibilities:
- Work in close collaboration with pharmacists, doctors, nurses, and other professions within primary care with the mandate to organize educational activities.
- Participate in the planning, production, and follow-up of physical and digital education.
- Work with the planning and organization of both network education and larger educational days, where your project management skills are valued.
- Work independently to pedagogically develop and structure our websites.
Employment Type:
Fixed-term employment, 40%, until 2026-12-31 with good prospects for extension. Start date by agreement.
Qualifications:
As an education coordinator, you will collaborate closely with several different professions, which requires that you have good cooperation skills, are outgoing, and find it easy to connect with new people. You should enjoy taking responsibility and working independently. To understand the needs of our target groups, you should have a few years of experience in clinical work in primary care as a nurse or registered nurse, and an employment within primary care in Region Stockholm.
You should have good stylistic skills, fluent Swedish in both speech and writing, and good experience working with the Office package. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in project work and/or education, and familiarity with working via Teams and/or Zoom. We would appreciate if you have experience with, or at least a strong interest in, working with and learning more about digital communication and website development. It is further positive if you have previous experience working within knowledge management and/or the pharmaceutical committee.
The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be reserved for internal transfer, according to current regulations.
For patient-related work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
