About the Role

We are now looking for an experienced (senior) Linux System Administrator who will be responsible for the client's system environment; servers, clients, and storage. This can involve either physical hardware or virtual Data Centers. The role includes installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems, services, programs, and hardware on both servers and clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain various Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, and Debian used in Enterprise environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot various system services such as DNS, RADIUS, NTP, DHCP, LDAP, MySQL, MariaDB, PHP, Apache, Nginx, Puppet, Ansible, NAS, SAN, EMC, and NMS systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain various Linux programs required in Telecom Enterprise environments. Various applications for IMS and Radio that are not Ericsson Node-based.
• Develop infrastructure to support all business requirements and perform regular system troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Plan, propose, and implement various systems for automation.
• Hardware inventory.
• Service inventory.
• Document various systems so they are understandable to others and keep the documentation updated.
• Close collaboration with STS Stockholm groups, such as the Network Team, IMS Team, and Radio Team.

Your Profile and Qualifications

• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Experience with Linux servers in cluster environments.
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB.
• Very good knowledge of Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
