About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you work with band saws, CNC milling, tube drawing equipment, and heavy lifting in connection with material processing and preparatory work around steam generators.

The work may include:

• Operating band saws, CNC, and robotic equipment
• Heavy lifting and material handling
• Surveying, drilling, and simple welding tasks
• Forklift and overhead crane operation
• Monitoring, settings, and problem-solving

Who We Are Looking For

This is a role for you who like technology, machines, and varied practical work. You are a technically curious and practical operator who thrives close to production and has experience with machine control, preferably within industry. The work is physically demanding, so you need to have good physical fitness and enjoy working with your body.

You are:

• Detail-oriented, structured, and safety-conscious
• Independent but also thrive in a team
• Confident in reading instructions and handling advanced equipment

Requirements:

• Experience with remotely controlled/robotized machines (e.g., Brokk)
• Practical technical competence & troubleshooting
• Welding experience
• Swedish & English
• Computer proficiency (Office 365)
• Category B driver's license + car
• Ability to work continuously in 3 shifts

Merits:

• Radiation protection competence
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates

The location is Studsvik outside Nyköping, and the work is on-site. This recruitment process includes a background check compiling previous public criminal records. The background check consists of public information handled confidentially. A security interview is also conducted where financial stability is a requirement.
