Casting Cleaner – Aluminum Castings (2 positions), Kvicksund

Job Description

We are looking for two experienced casting cleaners for a metal industry company in Kvicksund. You will work with post-processing of aluminum castings, where precision, accuracy, and good material knowledge are crucial. The work is physical and takes place in an industrial environment with a high pace and clear quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and grinding of aluminum castings
• Removing burrs, edges, and excess material
• Operating grinding machines and other hand tools
• Visual inspection and quality assurance of parts
• Forklift operation when needed
• Follow safety routines and work systematically in production

Requirements

• Documented experience with castings, specifically aluminum
• Experience grinding aluminum castings
• Forklift license
• Category B driver's license and own car (shift work and limited public transport)
• Experience with industrial and physical work
• Good spoken Swedish

Merits

• Experience from the metal industry or similar heavy environments
• Experience with post-processing, deburring, or machining

Working Hours & Scope

• Full-time, shift work.
• Employment: 6 months with possibility of extension.
