Background:

For our client in Oxelösund, we are looking for a skilled welder and industrial mechanic. Our client operates within sectors such as the steel industry, workshops, maintenance, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

As a welder and industrial mechanic, your work will focus on welding skills involving heavy metal objects, which may vary depending on the assignment. No two projects are alike. The role includes both assembly work and welding, where attention to detail is highly valued. Primary welding methods include stick welding and threaded pipe welding (license not required). Mobile work platforms and heavy lifting may be involved. You will be part of a qualified team of employees at the company. If you live elsewhere, temporary accommodation can be arranged.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have several years of experience in welding and maintenance within heavy industry. Safety is a priority for our client, and you must be accustomed to following strict safety regulations. Experience with welding, repairs, and machine assembly, as well as the ability to read technical drawings, is required.
