About the role

Änggårdsbacken, located at Per Dubbsgatan 4 near Sahlgrenska University Hospital, currently has a total of 169 places distributed across three buildings. We are now looking for new colleagues who wish to work as nursing assistants focused on geriatric psychiatry.

In your work, you focus on the strengths of the resident and utilize their individual resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions within their own home, which is part of the care and housing facility.

Your duties include personal care, support during meals, encouragement and assistance in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed staff. You also serve as a contact person, helping residents articulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About you

Requirements

• We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively prove that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
• Computer literacy to document in IT systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
