At Knowit Defence Technology, we are looking for consultants to join our growing team in Gothenburg, where we work on some of Sweden's most complex and critical defense projects. Here, you will contribute to the development of robust and secure IT, command, and communication systems that support the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), and the defense industry in land, sea, and air domains.

About the role

As a consultant with us, you work closely with our customers on assignments that cover much of the following, and we therefore hope you have experience in:

• Requirements management, system architecture, and system design
• System integration, verification and validation (V&V), and commissioning
• Command systems, sensors, communication systems, and military technical subsystems
• Technical support in security-critical environments with a focus on robustness, operational reliability, and information security

We are looking for someone who

• Has a technical university degree (civil engineer, computer scientist, or equivalent) or a military officer education (tactical officer, technical officer, or specialist officer)
• Has experience within military operations, requirements specification, system development, architecture, integration, or commissioning
• Has good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Is a Swedish citizen and can pass a security clearance with register check

Advantageous experience

• Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, or the defense industry
• Competence in IT security, cyber security, ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), defense logistics, or integrated systems
• Project leadership or technical customer responsibility
• Certifications (e.g., Systems Engineering, project management, or IT security)
• Experience from operations with high demands on security, redundancy, and reliability
• Class B driver's license (travel to military facilities occurs)
