Job Description
In the role of a nurse in municipal primary care, you are responsible for health and medical care interventions in patients' homes. Your work includes, among other things, medical assessments, preventive measures, medication management, and providing support and guidance to nursing staff. You plan and follow up on care interventions based on each patient's individual needs and situation.
You collaborate closely with other professions within and outside the municipality, such as assistant nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation staff. This position suits you if you thrive in independent work while valuing collaboration and having the ability to coordinate and integrate care interventions. We work from a person-centered approach and a holistic view, where every patient interaction is unique and significant.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with specialized training as a district nurse, in psychiatry, or in elderly care. You are experienced in working with IT-based medical record systems and express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
Experience from healthcare and social services is meritorious, but other relevant work experience is also valued. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required as the work often involves home visits to patients.
You have the ability to remain calm even under high workload and work with a professional and positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
