Do you want to combine your subject expertise in mathematics with clear pedagogical leadership? Montessori Mondial Lidingö is looking for a Lead Teacher in Mathematics who wants to develop teaching both in the classroom and together with colleagues. About the role
As a mathematics teacher and Lead Teacher with us, you play a central role in the school's development. You teach in grades 7–9 and simultaneously lead the development of mathematics teaching across the entire operation from preschool class to grade 9.

The role includes:

• Leading and developing collegial learning within mathematics.
• Initiating and driving development initiatives that strengthen students' achievement of goals.
• Working closely with school leadership on pedagogical development issues.
• Monitoring and analyzing teaching results.

Montessori in mathematics in practice
At our school, Montessori pedagogy is an active part of teaching. You will:

• Work with and further develop Montessori materials within mathematics.
• Use concrete working methods to visualize abstract concepts, for example within algebra, geometry, and number sense.
• Explore how students can work more independently and at their own pace.
• Contribute to developing teaching that moves from the whole to the parts.

Montessori Training
It is an advantage if you are Montessori trained. If not, we offer the opportunity to complete Montessori training starting in January 2027.

• Are a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 7–9.
• Want to take clear responsibility for teaching development.
• Have an interest in developing mathematics teaching beyond traditional methods.
• Are curious about Montessori pedagogy and how it can strengthen students' understanding.
• Have the ability to drive development work from idea to implementation.
