As a Licensed Optometrist at Direkt Optik, you are the heart of our business. Your ability to listen to each customer's unique needs is crucial to ensuring the absolute best experience. Your primary responsibility as a Licensed Optometrist is to perform eye examinations and prescribe customized vision aids at a high clinical level, with the goal of offering every customer the most optimal solution.

At Direkt Optik, you work in harmony with the Store Manager, Sales Staff, and Optometric Assistants to build long-term customer relationships.

Direkt Optik is part of Nexeye, a successful and ambitious retail group consisting of three award-winning optical brands operating in five European countries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye and contact lens examinations;
• Detect eye abnormalities and refer customers to ophthalmologists when necessary;
• Inform customers about the best lenses and frames for their prescription, how to use contact lenses, and perform follow-up checks if needed;
• Provide the best possible customer service, ensuring our customers look forward to their next visit;
• Act as an ambassador for Direkt Optik's mission to live by our core values: Your Vision – Our Strength.

Requirements for the Position

• Licensed Optometrist, regardless of whether you hold a DO/Master's degree or not.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly value personal customer interaction and strive to build long-term relationships.

As an optometrist, you spend most of your working time with patients, so we place great emphasis on your ability to build good relationships and inspire trust. We also appreciate if you are social, service-oriented, pedagogical, and proactive. Since the work is clinical, it is required that you are structured, detail-oriented, and very meticulous.
