With the patient in focus, you perform advanced nursing tasks. Your ability to make holistic assessments in patient care is a crucial part of your work. You lead the nursing work and collaborate closely with other professional groups.

Our operations are located at Sahlgrenska Hospital, Östra Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Högsbo Hospital, and Rågården (Gunnilse). We are a large organization with various departments you can work within.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or will complete your education by June 2026. You are structured and can take initiative in nursing work. Furthermore, you have the ability to actively listen to meet the patient's needs and create opportunities for the patient to participate in their own care. You take a leading role when the situation requires it and are skilled at communicating with different professions, patients, and relatives.

We are looking for summer substitutes during the vacation period weeks 23–35 (June 1 – August 30). We prefer that you can work for 8 consecutive weeks, including 4 weeks in July.

To ensure we can offer our patients good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and the ability to communicate effectively in Swedish.

Information for Applicants

At Sahlgrenska University Hospital, care is provided around the clock, which means you may work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Sahlgrenska University Hospital has a time quota system associated with night shifts, which reduces the weekly working hours for each night worked.

Before employment in psychiatry or pediatric care, a check of the suspicion and criminal record register is conducted.
