Our client is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to navigate complex risks in an innovative manufacturing process currently under development. Here you will play a key role in shaping future safety standards in a strategically important environment.

About the role

As a Process Safety Engineer, you will have an administrative role focused on planning, reviewing, and documenting risk analyses for a future manufacturing process. You will actively support the engineering and operations teams with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) issues related to technical safety.

This is initially a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. Read more about our consulting offer.

Responsibilities

The role involves an administrative focus on ensuring high process safety through the planning, execution, and review of risk analyses for a complex manufacturing process.

• Plan and lead risk analyses for process safety.
• Review risk analyses to ensure compliance with methodologies.
• Document and summarize decisions and actions from risk analysis meetings.
• Communicate actively with other teams to gather actions.
• Provide support in HSE issues (Health, Safety, and Environment) related to technical safety.
• Plan and conduct follow-up meetings to evaluate risk mitigation.

• Has experience working with HSE issues within technical safety.
• Has advanced knowledge of risk assessment methods and risk analyses.
• Has the ability to work administratively and communicate effectively.
