In the role of Development Engineer, you are offered a varied and challenging daily routine. You will have a coordinating role and act as the link between the local site and your international R&D colleagues. Together with your colleagues, you will be involved in several different development projects. The primary purpose of the role is to improve and optimize the manufacturing processes of the company's products.

You will lead, plan, and prepare your projects for process optimization. Occasionally, you will work on testing and implementing new, improved processes in consultation with colleagues from operations and occupational health and safety. The work involves a good mix of office work and production work. International travel occurs a couple of times a year to other sites.

You belong to a group of 5 people located in Figeholm. Your closest R&D colleagues will primarily consist of approximately 15 colleagues in Poland. In Figeholm, you will also collaborate closely with production and quality engineers.

The company in Figeholm is part of an international group. Here you have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues at the local site, as well as having many international contacts. Today, approximately 115 employees work at the site in Figeholm, and the goal is for the workforce to grow over time. The company's site in Figeholm manufactures a hard, compressed paper material used for insulation in transformers. The company has a high degree of automation in its processes and produces very high-quality and sought-after products. You will have many skilled and competent colleagues both in the office and in the factory.

To succeed in the role of Development Engineer, we believe you have a genuine interest in working close to production. You like to improve and optimize processes without compromising on the quality of the final product. You keep order and structure among different projects and tasks and like to be the "hub" of the network. You find it exciting to get involved in several different technical areas. Last but not least, we believe that you are not afraid to ask for help when you need it, and that you enjoy discussing various challenges with your colleagues, both locally and internationally.

• Relevant university degree in Mechanical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Handling/Control Engineering/Process Industry/Equivalent
• Relevant experience from work/internship/thesis
• Swedish and English in speech and writing

• Experience from work in the process industry, preferably the paper industry
• Experience from work with paper fibers, different techniques for gluing and lamination
• Some programming or deeper calculation knowledge
