Boqueria Göteborg is now looking for an engaged and experienced chef to join our team. We are a warm and welcoming restaurant where high quality, good collaboration, and genuine guest service are at the center. The Role
As a chef at Boqueria Göteborg, you are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to our kitchen concept. You work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure that flavor, quality, and pace meet our high standards. Responsibilities include mise en place, cooking during lunch and dinner shifts, adapting dishes for larger groups, and maintaining clean and organized workstations. You will participate in ordering and handling ingredients, ensure food hygiene routines are followed, and actively contribute to the development of menus and daily specials.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with experience from restaurant kitchens, preferably with experience in à la carte or tapas production. You have good technique, a sense for flavors, and understand the importance of timing and collaboration in an open kitchen. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is desirable, as is knowledge of seasonal ingredients and sustainability aspects in cooking.

About You
You are meticulous, creative, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for your workstation. You handle stressful situations calmly and prioritize quality and the guest experience in all tasks. Flexibility regarding working hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is preferred.

Requirements

  • Documented experience from restaurant kitchens, preferably in à la carte or tapas
  • Good technical skills and a sense for taste and presentation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and good prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP routines or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work structured and meticulously under pressure
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
