Do you want a role where you are the hub of the network and hold a key position in a leading industrial company? Our client, Ovako, is now looking for an engaged Raw Material Coordinator who wants to ensure an efficient and sustainable raw material flow.

In the role of Raw Material Coordinator, you have a central function in the business. You work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers/contractors, contributing to smooth, efficient, and high-quality raw material management. Together with the manager, you lead the work environment and safety efforts within the group. Quality work focusing on raw materials, both internally and externally with our suppliers, is also included, involving close collaboration with the purchasing function. Some claims handling, logistics planning, and together with the manager, responsibility for daily operations are also part of the role.

The position is a direct employment with Ovako.

• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and distributors
• Lead or participate in development projects within raw material management
• Collaborate with raw material specialists regarding quality and analysis issues
• Monitor and coordinate material balance in the warehouse
• Create purchase orders and support during deliveries
• Work with invoice management
• Act as a substitute for the group when needed
• Business travel occurs, adding variety to your daily routine.
• Participate in audits

You are a structured and responsible person who thrives in a role with many contact points. You have an eye for detail but can also see the big picture and take initiative when needed.

• High school education
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Experience with business systems
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Understanding of processes and production environments
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Purchasing experience is an advantage

• Aware of safety and quality
• Service-oriented and solution-focused
• Precise and structured
• Proactive and flexible
• A team player who can also work independently
