About the role
In the role of System Engineer, you will play a central part in the validation work of our client's advanced satellite communications and its corresponding ground systems. You will work with testing and verification of critical components in close collaboration with the team and contribute to broadening the internal competence within system validation and support.

Responsibilities
The role primarily involves system validation and testing of advanced digital satellite communication systems.
- Validate advanced digital satellite communication systems.
- Write and run automated test scripts for system validation.
- Manage and configure test equipment in a lab environment (hardware, RF connections, signal generators).
- Analyze test results and identify system faults.
- Contribute to the development of requirements work and test assignments.
- Participate in troubleshooting and support.
- Ensure system performance and reliability prior to software updates.
We are looking for someone who has
- Education in electronics, radio communications, technical physics, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of radio communications and digital radio (RF technology, digital communication, network protocols, and signaling).
- Ability to read and write code and understand automated test environments.
- Great technical interest and willingness to work variably with both hardware and software.
- Ability to grasp complex systems and heavy technical standards.
- Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience from SATCOM or other digital radio communication systems.
- Background from 4G/5G system environments (e.g., from telecom companies).
- Experience from practical work with radio systems in a lab environment.
