is looking for Hot Kitchen Manager for the store kitchen

ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with approximately 70 employees. We work tirelessly to be Skövde's best grocery store, for you who want to live a little better.

We are in a phase of development and renewal to create and develop our store into Skaraborg's most modern grocery store with a focus on food and meal solutions.

As the Hot Kitchen Manager here, you will be involved in and steer the hot kitchen area regarding operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration together with the Sales Manager for Fresh Goods.

Responsibilities:

• You are one of the chefs in the store kitchen's production team, where production consists of hot food for the lunch buffet, portion meals, pies, soups, starters, desserts, sides, salads, sandwich cakes, sandwiches, grilled items, party trays, buffets, and assisting in the manual sales department where we currently sell fish and delicacies.
• Together with the Sales Manager, you plan the daily operations in the hot kitchen area, which includes production and packing of portion meals, care products, hot lunch, customer orders, and production of various sides.
• Take responsibility for and contribute to maintaining sales momentum in the department, sales planning together with the Sales Manager, and varying the assortment according to season and plan.
• Ensure that the ingredient list for all food we produce is correct according to the recipes.
• Be involved in the purchase of raw materials for hot kitchen production.
• Be involved in self-control and ensure it is followed in production.
• Be driving in the development of an assortment that inspires customers with new products and seasonal items from the kitchen together with the Sales Manager.

An important part of the job is working with efficiency, structure in the kitchen and warehouse, contributing high energy to the kitchen team, and having a good sense of order.

Qualifications:

• Experience from a leading position in the restaurant industry or grocery trade
• Good knowledge of store economics/business economics
• Are structured and have good quality awareness

As Hot Kitchen Manager, you report to the Sales Manager for Fresh Goods Sales.

The position is a part-time position of approximately 95%. We offer permanent employment with an initial probation period of 6 months. The position is available immediately or by agreement.

Salary according to agreement.
