As a Technical Product Specialist in the e-services group, you will work together with Product Owners, System Developers, and UX Designers on products within the e-services area used by hundreds of thousands of users. You will be part of an agile team with many contacts both within and outside the police force.
Job Description
As a Technical Product Specialist and expert on our products, you will support and guide the business regarding their questions and needs, as well as support the Product Owner in all matters related to further development, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting during operational issues.
You will work with both self-developed products and procured standard products within the e-services area. For procured products, you will collaborate with suppliers and participate, together with Product Owners and Project Managers, in supplier meetings regarding maintenance, improvement, and further development measures necessary for the product. Conducting tests and ensuring that deliveries from subcontractors meet our requirements is an important part of your assignment.
As a Technical Product Specialist, you are expected to:
- Act as an advisor and expert in technical matters to Product Owners and Project Managers.
- Be proactive in contacting the stakeholders needed to succeed with our deliveries, e.g., the police's operations organization.
- Maintain contact with suppliers regarding the products from a technical perspective.
- Provide technical support regarding the products when developing new e-services.
- Verify that procured products function technically in the police's operational environment.
- Perform system configuration.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant education in IT, or equivalent acquired experience assessed by the Swedish Police Authority as equivalent.
- Current and relevant work experience in the operation and maintenance of systems in a Windows environment.
- Good technical understanding with knowledge of both hardware and software.
- Experience as a Technical Product Specialist or a similar role that the Swedish Police Authority assesses as relevant for the position.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
The position requires Swedish citizenship.
We consider it meritorious if you additionally have in the near future:
- Experience with system integrations.
- Experience collaborating with external suppliers.
- Experience with agile working methods.
- Experience in coordination and/or project management within IT that the Swedish Police Authority assesses as relevant for the position.
