We are looking for engaged summer substitutes who are ready to contribute to a meaningful summer for our residents – while developing yourself. Work for 8 weeks – get paid for 10!

We are looking for you who want to support our care recipients in their daily lives with whatever they need to achieve a good quality of life. The assignments are varied, fun, and sometimes challenging. We guarantee that you will experience a fast-paced summer where daily encounters lead to lifelong experiences.

Sotenäs Municipality needs summer substitutes for home care, special housing, and the short-stay unit, LSS housing, social psychiatry, and service interventions. If you are to work within home care or housing support, you must possess a valid B-driver's license.

With us, you have the opportunity to work for 8 weeks and receive compensation for 10. Furthermore, we can offer monthly employment or hourly employment and a degree of employment between 50% and 100%. To take advantage of the offer, you must have been in service at least 80% of the time during the 8 weeks in June–August.

As a summer substitute in Sotenäs Municipality, you have varied working hours based on the schedule, day/evening or night, both weekdays and weekends. Tasks involve support for care recipients in daily life, ranging from safety measures to service and care.

The care profession is no longer just a classic nursing job. Today, we work with digital locks, safety alarms, mobile working methods, apps, and see welfare technology as a natural part of everyday life. Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education and/or interest in working within healthcare and social care. If you have turned 16, you are welcome to apply for our service positions. To succeed as a summer substitute with us, you need to be social, empathetic, proactive, and able to work both independently and in teams. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. You have a good attitude and a good ability to create a sense of meaning based on individually adapted support. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

We are in need of summer substitutes during the period June–August. You will receive an introduction before you start work. The introduction consists of theory, knowledge within moving and medication, but also includes practice. Naturally, salary is also paid during the introduction period.

Selection and interviews take place continuously during the advertising period. You do not need to attach a cover letter – however, it is important that you answer the questions you will be asked when you submit your application, which form the basis for the first selection we make. A CV can be attached if desired.

An extract from the criminal record will be requested prior to any employment, so it is good if you order this from the police authority in good time. Sotenäs – The Sea Municipality

Sotenäs is located furthest out towards the West Sea in the middle of Bohuslän, between the large cities of Gothenburg and Oslo. Approximately 9,000 people live in the municipality in coastal communities such as Smögen, Kungshamn, Hunnebostrand, Bovallstrand, Hovenäset, and Malmön.
