  • Has subject-specific qualifications in Home and Consumer Studies, as well as experience with TEACCH pedagogy and students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

  • Has a teaching license with qualifications in Home and Consumer Studies for grades 6–9.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a flexible pedagogical approach.
  • Has interest, knowledge, and experience regarding the school's student group.
  • Has experience creating structured, predictable, and visually clear teaching situations.
  • Has experience working with visual aids and visual teaching methods.

As a teacher of Home and Consumer Studies at Ingrid School, you will be responsible for small classes. You will lead the students' schoolwork with the support of teaching assistants working within the various classes. Flexibility and the ability to adapt teaching to the individual needs and prerequisites of the students are essential.

We are seeking a colleague with a strong interest in special pedagogy and experience or training related to the school's student group (NPF, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech disorders, etc.).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Key traits include being confident in the teacher role and willing to take responsibility for the student's development towards goals from a holistic perspective. We focus on each student's unique strengths, situation, and needs. This requires us to be particularly attentive and flexible in our work and approach.

About the School

Ingrid School is a small primary and upper secondary school primarily adapted for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but it is open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school works based on TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.

Ingrid School is a workplace with excellent opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development, aiming to create good learning and leisure environments for children and young people within the ASD spectrum. To enable this, staff receive continuous supervision and further training in ASD.

Ingrid School offers a school environment characterized by calmness, where you have significant freedom and time to work individually with each student's different prerequisites.

Employment Terms

25% part-time position, scheduled on Tuesdays with lessons between 08:00–15:00.

Holiday service with start date August 5, 2026.
