Do you want to combine project coordination with a social and service-oriented role? AFRY is looking for a Project Coordinator with a focus on both onboarding and project support in a long-term in-house project.
About the role
As a Project Coordinator at AFRY, you will become a central part of the project operations, working closely with project managers and project teams in the daily coordination of projects. You will act as an operational support and an extension of the project manager, responsible for creating structure, following up on activities, and ensuring that project work flows efficiently.
The role is broad and varied, with two clear focus areas. Approximately 50% of your time is spent on overall coordination, acting as a “spider in the web” within the organization. Here, you are responsible for onboarding new employees – from planning introductions and hosting welcome sessions to ensuring that access, permissions, and tools are in place. You have many internal contact points, for example with IT, HR, and other support functions, and ensure that the correct information is available and up to date.
The remaining approximately 50% of the role involves working closely with an established and long-term in-house project linked to one of AFRY’s larger customers. In this part, you contribute with structure and administrative support in the daily project work, for example by handling invoices, supporting procurement processes, contacting suppliers, and following up on activities and project information. You become a key part of relieving project managers and creating the conditions for the team to deliver.
This is a role for you who thrives in a dynamic environment where you get to combine structure, coordination, and service. You will work closely with several stakeholders and play an important role in ensuring that both people and processes work together smoothly.
About AFRY: AFRY is a leading company within engineering, design, and consulting with a global presence and strong roots in the Nordics. Here you are offered an inclusive culture, many fun activities with Club AFRY which offers e.g. ski trips, yoga, cultural and sports events, good development opportunities, and a work environment where collaboration, innovation, and well-being are in focus.
