About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Contract & Vendor Manager who will take overall responsibility for the management and monitoring of a comprehensive IT operations agreement with a strategic supplier. The role operates at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery, encompassing strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives.

You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and the supplier to ensure that the delivery maintains the right quality, cost level, and development pace over time.

Purpose of the Role

The role focuses on maximizing the value of a business-critical IT contract by:

• Ensuring that delivery meets agreed quality, cost, and security standards
• Creating structure and clarity in the collaboration between the organization and the supplier
• Driving improvements and development initiatives in partnership with the supplier

Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Responsible for contract structure, service catalog, SLA/KPIs, and commercial models
• Interpret and ensure correct application of contract terms
• Drive changes in the contract (services, price, volumes, SLA)
• Manage the contract lifecycle including extensions, renegotiations, or new tenders

Delivery and Quality Monitoring

• Monitor delivery data (SLA, KPI, incidents, changes)
• Identify deviations and drive corrective actions
• Ensure that improvement initiatives are implemented

Financial Monitoring

• Review invoices, volumes, and pricing models
• Identify deviations and cost risks
• Prepare decision support materials regarding costs, savings, and efficiencies
• Manage penalties, credits, and price adjustments

Supplier Governance & Collaboration

• Act as the main contact with the supplier at the tactical level
• Lead or coordinate monitoring forums and dialogues
• Ensure a professional and unified buyer perspective
• Drive a long-term value-creating relationship with the supplier

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify and manage risks related to delivery
• Support in contract disputes and prepare decision support materials
• Ensure compliance and stable operations

Support to Management

• Prepare analyses and decision support materials regarding: delivery quality, costs, and risks
• Contribute to strategic decisions regarding contracts and suppliers

Requirements

• At least 5 years of documented experience in roles such as contract controller, contract manager, vendor manager, or similar, with responsibility for managing and monitoring external supplier contracts.
• Experience from at least two assignments where you have worked with the management or monitoring of large IT contracts (at least 100 MSEK) within operations, outsourcing, or infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of experience working with invoice review, monitoring of prices and volumes, SLA/KPIs, as well as handling deviations, penalties, and credits.
• At least 5 years of experience in supplier governance and contract development, including driving contract changes, improvement initiatives, supplier dialogues, and preparing decision support materials for management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from at least four assignments involving the management or monitoring of large IT contracts (over 100 MSEK).
• Experience from at least two assignments with very large IT contracts (over 250 MSEK) within operations, outsourcing, or infrastructure.
