We are currently looking for a Traveling Field Service Technician for our unit that services and installs power transformers, reactors, and transformer components.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Provide first-class and professional service within key areas such as oil-filled and dry-type transformers and accessories, e.g., tap changers.
• Perform various common service tasks such as field testing, oil sampling, and electrical measurements.
• Work proactively and preventively.
• Coordinate logistics for resources and spare parts for service jobs.
• Be actively involved in product and process improvements within the operations to enhance customer service.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values regarding safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background

• We are looking for you who have an education or work experience in assembly, preferably within mechanics. You also have an interest in tinkering and working with tools.
• A willingness to travel and work both independently and in a team. Experience with travel is a plus. You are flexible regarding working hours and can adapt to the project's needs.
• You are proficient in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• You hold a valid driver's license (Category B), which is a minimum requirement.
• You are customer-oriented and strive to deliver high quality in the work you perform.
• In this role, you will work according to high quality standards; therefore, it is important that you are quality-conscious, safety-conscious, and responsible.

You work meticulously and structured, have a clear interest in tinkering and working with tools, and thrive equally well in collaboration with others as when working independently.
