About the role

Company description:

Culligan Water Treatment Group is a family-owned business based in Uppsala, specializing in drinking water treatment. We plan, dimension, sell, and install equipment for private individuals, industries, housing associations, and municipalities. We sell Culligan products and manufacture our own VRG brand water filters. Our team includes office-based consultants/sales staff and service technicians who perform maintenance and install equipment across Sweden.

Responsibilities:

As a service technician, you will work hands-on, which can be physically demanding. You will be based out of our office and perform jobs at customer sites. You will represent the company and act as the link between the customer and our office staff. The role involves driving and may occasionally require overnight stays away from home.

Examples of tasks include:

  • Planning jobs and packing your service van based on work orders assigned by the service manager.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing water filters or related equipment at customer sites or in our workshop.
  • Replacing existing water filters with new ones or performing new installations of filter equipment.
  • Carrying out recurring maintenance contracts for clients, where we manage their water filter equipment.
  • Chlorinating drinking water wells and associated piping networks.
  • Conducting drinking water sampling.

Qualifications:

No prior experience in this specific field is required. What matters most to us is your personality: you are proactive, responsible, and self-motivated, thriving in a dynamic work environment with a fast pace. You should be able to handle sudden changes and take on responsible tasks with short notice. You are not afraid to question routines and can suggest improvements to streamline and develop administrative processes. You have excellent teamwork skills and are able to take initiative and identify when tasks need to be done.

You should have the ability to see when things can be improved or simplified. Furthermore, you are flexible, unpretentious, and accustomed to representing the company professionally. You communicate well both verbally and in writing. Training will be provided on the job, and we are looking for someone who sees a future within the company.

Please include your salary expectations and references with your application.
