About the company

InmatiQ Mitt AB is a company specializing in building and industrial automation. They offer holistic solutions, from consulting and design to installation and service, always with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. As Sweden's first Advanced Partner to Siemens within Smart Infrastructure, InmatiQ is at the forefront of digital and future-proof automation solutions. They aim to be more than just a service provider; they want to be a partner who sees opportunities beyond the ordinary.

InmatiQ is a company within the Instalco Group, founded in 2024. Despite being new to the market, the company has already achieved significant success and established itself as a reliable player in its field, thanks to its senior industry experience.

We at Asta Agency are collaborating with InmatiQ in this recruitment process. We are looking for an Automation Engineer / Automation Technician within building automation, located in the Norrköping/Linköping area. The process is handled by Asta, and you will be employed directly by InmatiQ.

About the role

As an Automation Engineer at InmatiQ, you will be a key person in developing and implementing automation solutions within building automation. You will work through the entire project lifecycle – from design and construction to programming, commissioning, and support. This means a varied job where you switch between technical documentation and programming in the office, and practical work on-site with customers, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, lack of hierarchy, and knowledge sharing are second nature. The team works closely together, and the goal is to grow further with the right people as the customer base expands.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop technical solutions for automation, from higher-level systems to field level.
  • Design, construction, and programming of control and monitoring systems.
  • Commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation solutions.
  • Creation of operation manuals, documentation, and technical drawings.
  • Collaboration with customers, consultants, and contractors to ensure holistic solutions.
Qualifications and attributes

In this recruitment process, your personal attributes will be of utmost importance. We believe you are an engaged and curious person with a strong interest in technology. You enjoy taking responsibility, collaborating closely with colleagues and customers, and driving things forward in a service-oriented manner. The role suits you if you thrive on mixing office work with being on-site at facilities in a practical role. We are looking for someone who wants to develop in a role with significant autonomy. Most importantly, you have a strong technical interest and want to work with projects from start to finish.

At InmatiQ, you will have a role where you are involved in the entire project flow – from idea and design to final commissioning. You will have the opportunity to grow along with the company, both in responsibility and competence, while becoming part of a family-like culture with short decision-making paths and great trust. Here, flexibility and freedom under responsibility are combined with clear frameworks and strong support from colleagues and management.

Additionally, we are looking for you who have:

  • At least one year of experience in a role within building automation.
  • Knowledge of automation systems/manufacturers, with experience in Siemens building automation (e.g., Desigo or older systems) being meritorious. Experience with other manufacturers or work with SCADA, commissioning, or system integration is also meritorious.
  • A strong interest in computers and technology.
  • A valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Other information
  • Start: Immediately, subject to notice period.
  • Location: Linköping or Norrköping and surrounding areas.
  • Employment: Full-time.
  • Salary: According to agreement.

We apply continuous selection in this process, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline. We therefore recommend that you apply as soon as possible!
