We are looking for a Sales Assistant who wants to play a key role in driving store performance through excellent service, strong execution skills, and great teamwork.

In this role, you are an integral part of the store's daily operations. You work across various tasks to ensure a high customer experience while contributing to both sales and operational quality.

Your area of expertise is Sports, where we sell products for ball and racket sports, ice hockey, water sports, running, as well as training and fitness.

Experience in areas such as football, hockey, running, or golf is advantageous – preferably, you are an active participant yourself.

You are part of the store's sales team and contribute wherever the need is greatest.

What you will be working with

Sales and Customer Service

• Proactively engage with customers and contribute to sales on the shop floor
• Provide excellent and professional service, ensuring customers find the right products
• Contribute to achieving daily and weekly sales targets through proactive selling
• Use product knowledge to guide customers and recommend relevant products and upsell
• Contribute to campaigns, seasonal activities, and prioritized sales areas

Store Operations

• Maintain store standards and ensure good product presentation
• Perform daily routines to keep the store clean, organized, and ready for sales
• Restock goods, check prices, and execute campaigns
• Assist with goods receiving, unpacking, and warehouse organization
• Work at the cash register when needed and follow established procedures
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and orderly workplace

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments in the store
• Participate in meetings, training, and store activities
• Share knowledge and contribute to colleagues' development
• Contribute to a positive work environment and team spirit

Employment & Working Hours

The position is a permanent part-time role at 50%. Working hours are variable and include every other weekend. Start date is mid-May or as agreed. Opportunities for additional hours exist, especially during the summer.
