About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection on Gotland, with Region Gotland as the client and partner. We now need to strengthen the organization with an engaged and responsive customer service representative who is a whiz at administration.

As an employee in Verdis customer service, you will often be the first point of contact between us and our customers, making you a very important representative for the company and a key link in maintaining and strengthening Verdis's brand.

Your main responsibilities consist of receiving and responding to questions from customers. Administration, such as case management in our various systems and feedback to colleagues and subscribers, is also part of the role. In this position, you report to the local production manager and are part of a team with another customer service representative. The workplace for the position is in Visby.

More specifically, your duties include:

• Answering incoming questions regarding general waste management.
• Answering pickup-related questions about, for example, accessibility, products, and services.
• Forwarding contacts to the right person or department, both internally and externally.
• Case management via phone, email, and in our business system, EDP.
• Assisting and serving Verdis environmental workers in their work at collection points when needed.

In addition, you have at least a completed upper secondary education and experience in customer service work, preferably from a company in a similar industry. Knowledge of waste management and local knowledge of Gotland are highly meritorious. However, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities in connection with this appointment.
