About the Role

Our client is a global industrial company based in the Nordics that develops and sells outdoor work equipment, such as forestry and garden products. The company has a long history, invests heavily in technical innovation (especially in automation and battery technology), and targets both consumers and professional users. The business operates internationally through several brands and distribution channels.

As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be key to driving our client's digital sales success. You will be responsible for strategically developing and optimizing their e-commerce platforms and customer journeys, in close collaboration with an engaged team.

This is a consultancy assignment via Academic Work with immediate start, running until 31/12/2026.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on leading and developing e-commerce strategies, optimizing digital platforms, and driving growth through innovative solutions and a strong customer focus.

  • Lead and develop digital sales strategies.
  • Manage and optimize e-commerce and CMS systems.
  • Identify and implement new marketing concepts to drive growth.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in the dynamic e-commerce environment.
  • Ensure an outstanding online customer experience.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A relevant degree in e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Strong experience in a similar role within e-commerce or retail.
  • Advanced knowledge of e-commerce and CMS systems.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish, as these are used in daily work.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualifications that are a plus:

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or Sitecore.
  • A strong interest in emerging technologies in e-commerce.
