About the Workplace

Rehab Kusten is a private clinic within the Vårdval Rehab program in the Region Västra Götaland (VGR). Our operations are conducted in collaboration with Vårdcentralen Kusten in Ytterby, in the western part of Kungälv municipality. Vårdcentralen Kusten has over 19,800 registered residents. Rehab Kusten also accepts patients registered at other primary care centers.

At Rehab Kusten, 9 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists work together. In addition to close collaboration within the group, we cooperate with doctors, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators at the primary care center. The clinic is located just a 1-2 minute walk from Ytterby station. There are excellent commuting connections, with trains to/from Gothenburg taking approximately 17 minutes.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among the patients you encounter include reduced hand function, pain, mental ill-health, and cognitive impairment. The work also involves prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, you will create a personalized rehabilitation plan.

The work is carried out at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Treatment is provided both individually and in groups. The role involves collaboration with other professions, both within our own clinic and with external partners.

You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience within the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome recent graduates.

Personal Attributes

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, flexibility, teamwork skills, initiative, and the ability to handle a high patient flow. Professional competence and independence are required, as we often serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

Travel during work hours occurs. A valid B-class driver's license is required.

Employment level: 100% (subject to agreement).
