About the role

This is a full-time assignment as a summer job over the period of June to August. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at the client's site. This assignment is suitable for you who are studying forwarding/logistics or are at the beginning of your career and want to gain practical experience in sea or air freight.

Responsibilities

In the role of freight forwarder, you will support the daily operations within forwarding. You will become part of a team where you collaborate with experienced forwarders and contribute to several parts of the transport flow. The tasks are operational and give you a good insight into how transport works in practice.

You will, among other things:

• Handle and follow up on transport bookings
• Register assignments and information in business systems
• Monitor loading and ensure that flows follow the plan
• Maintain simple contact with customers and suppliers via email

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Ongoing or completed post-secondary education in forwarding, logistics, or similar
• Good computer and system skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Meritorious with LIA (work-integrated learning) or other practical experience in sea or air forwarding
• Meritorious with experience working in business systems, such as CargoWise

To thrive in this role, you are curious and quick to learn new tasks. You work in a structured manner, follow instructions, and are meticulous with details. At the same time, you are not afraid to ask questions when something is unclear and contribute to the team's work by taking responsibility for your tasks. You enjoy a pace where days can vary and where collaboration is a natural part of the work.
