Description
Professional Galaxy is looking for a Production Technician (Machine), Level 4 for one of our clients in Linköping.

You will work on lines and projects performing production technical tasks for the machine workshop's needs. The role involves working at the interface between design, procurement, and production with the aim of creating good conditions for manufacturing. There is an opportunity to work close to production as well as within preparation/planning. For example, you will review design documentation, manufacturability, and prepare articles to minimize and optimize machining time and material usage in machining. Depending on your experience, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with procurement to find suppliers for our articles. You act as a technical advisor and collaborate with others to ensure that systems, flows, and processes function optimally.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Handling disruptions in production.
• Investigation work.
• Improvement work and production efficiency.
• Preparation/Planning (Beredning).
• FAI (First Article Inspection).

Qualifications

• A post-secondary education as an engineer or practical experience from workshop work involving milling, turning, and/or cutting machining.
• Experience and knowledge in handling 3D-CAD is highly meritorious.
• A passion for collaborating with people of different experiences and backgrounds, seeking answers and solutions through interaction.
• Previous practical experience in fault investigation in a production environment.
• Knowledge and experience in optimizing production flows, balancing, and setup time rationalization is meritorious.

Note: Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance may be required for this position.

• Duration: Approx. 12 months
• Location: Linköping
