Summer substitutes for care and social support – Lysekil Municipality

Do you want to do something meaningful this summer? Are you an empathetic, reliable, and service-oriented person who enjoys working closely with others and contributing to their well-being? Then we are looking for you!

We are seeking summer substitutes and hourly substitutes for home care, special housing, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Functional Disabilities), and social psychiatry throughout Lysekil Municipality.

Summer Bonuses

• Base Bonus – for those who work continuously on a scheduled shift over a number of weeks.
• Returning Employee Bonus – extra compensation based on how many summers you have worked previously.
• Pensioner Bonus – higher bonus for those who are drawing a pension and work continuously on a scheduled shift.

🧡 What does the job involve?

As a short-term substitute, you are an important part of the network surrounding the users. The tasks vary depending on the department, but may include:

Providing care, service, and support based on the individual needs of users, documenting in the operational system Combine, and performing delegated health and medical care tasks from the nurse.

You will always receive an introduction at the workplace together with permanent staff to ensure you feel secure in your role.

🎓 Who are we looking for?

You are welcome to apply regardless of whether you have previous experience or are curious to try working in care.

You must be at least 18 years old, able to express yourself well in Swedish (both spoken and written, at least Swedish A or equivalent), and have good computer skills, including the ability to handle mobile phones and digital systems.

📱 Practicalities regarding employment

You need to have the Freja app for logging in and signing in our systems. You need to present an extract from the Swedish Criminal Record Register digitally or in an unopened envelope (for home care work with elderly and persons with disabilities). Order this in good time. Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. The first step is a language test. Digital reference checks are conducted after the interview.
